- Our check valve manufacturing process starts with very high-grade stainless steel. They are manufactured in small batches in an ISO 9001 certified machine shop in the U.S.A.
- Over 9 years of field testing, in numerous locations throughout the world, had determined the ultimate combination of ball, seat and body hardness to ensure a long-lasting check valve.
- End caps are oven hardened in a specialized oven, and Hex shaped for easy removal in the field.
- Every valve is then run in a pre-seating machine to ensure proper function of the valve.
- After pre-seating, the valves are all individually vacuum tested for proper seal.
- Valves are individually visually inspected one last time before they are packaged.
The pre-chambers are manufactured using a state-of-the-art Investment Casting Process that results in superior dimensional tolerances, ideal surface finishes and improved grain structure of the metal throughout the casting.
The Investment Casting Process consistently provides dimensional tolerances of +/- .002 inches.
The O.E.M./Caterpillar® casting uses a Sand Casting Process which is considered to be a lower quality process than the Investment Casting Process.
